i need to know how many acres he sold. this will tell how much he received originally. we know he spent 80000 to buy 16 acres at 5000 each. if he sold whole acres he possibly had 20 to start @ 4200 each he would receive 84000 he spent 80000 so he would have 4000 left. 4200X > 80000 X > 19 where X is the number of acres to start with
