Kylee is managing a small theme park and has been analyzing the attendance data. Kylee has found that the number of visitors increases exponentially as the temperature increases. Kylee has also found a linear equation that models the number of people who leave the park early depending on the temperature. Describe how Kylee can combine these two functions into a new function and explain what that function would predict.
Please help :(
"Describe how Kylee can combine these two functions into a new function..." What two functions?
That's the entire question. It's very vague I know. @Hero
I guess it's just hypothetically "what would you need to do to combine a linear and an exponential equation"
You would write it as a combination of functions. If f(x) represents the linear function and g(x) represents the exponential function and you need the linear function to be dependent on the exponential function, then you would write the combination of functions as h(x) = f(g(x))
I'll try that I guess thanks
I was just hoping you would provide the actual information from the question you are trying to answer.
There is no other information like I said. No functions, and no linear equations were actually provided. That was the entire question.
