If you haven't done a sketch, do one and you will see that you are dealing with a triangle with sides of 120 miles and 150 miles (the third side to be found) and the angle between the two legs of the journey being (90 + 39.17) degrees ); from now on I'm going to omit the word ' degrees' to make the writing easier & clearer. If we call the third side D, then the Cosine Rule gives us D^2 = 120^2 + 150^2 - 2*120*150*cos129.17) ; put that into your calculator and D^2 = 59638.444... so take the square root and it = 244.20983.... miles, so at a guess I would say they are looking for an answer of 244 miles or at most 244.2 miles.
