He arranged himself into a prone position and aimed his soaker directly at the cat who was exactly 30 meters from the base of the cliff. The soaker could spit water out with a velocity of 44 m/s. a) What was the launch angle of the water b) By how much did his shot miss the cat c) If Thomas could dial in an exact launch speed for the water, and if he shot with a launch angle of 30 degrees above the horizontal, what launch speed would be needed to hit the cat.
