The diagram below represents a rectangular garden with walkways along the diagonals. A fountain is located at point F, which is the center of the park. Marie enters the park through the west gate and walks (3x – 1) yards to reach the fountain. Jennifer enters the park through the east gate and walks (4x – 8) yards to reach the same spot.

Sorry, I stepped away for a while. Well the last thing @surjithayer said was find 4x-8 , meaning if we plug in x=7 4 times 7-8 is 28-8 meaning the answer would be 20 ; therefore it is A?
