34. Diagram Qs: which structure represents unsaturated fat? Which structure represents saturated fat? At room temperature, what state is each type of fat? State whether each type of fat is associated with heart problems. Give an example of each type of fat. @Abhisar
M i supposed to see a diagram ?
no there wasn't one
okay, saturated fatty acids are those who doesnt have any double bond
ok
unsaturated fats have double bonds and saturated single bonds. there are different types of fats..
yeaa truu
In contrary to it, as @shrutipande9 said unsaturated fatty acids have double bond (one or more)
unsaturated fat is the one that has double bonds in its structure and is liquid at room temperature saturated is the one has single bonds only in its structure and is solid at room temperature
any examples
of them
fats are solid at room temp and oils liquid...
ok so wat abut unsatureted at
oil is unsaturated
k thanx
oil is liquid at room temp i.e unsaturated fats are liquid at room temp
saturated fats ARE animal products like butter, cream etc
Heart disease associated with fat would be cholesterol i think and coronary heart diseases
unsaturated fats are like vegetable oils
i mean diseases associated with fats are cholesterol and coronary heart diseases *
