(MC)Which of these changes took place in the first two decades of the 20th century? The United States went from being a net exporter to being a net importer. The industrial workforce went from minority unionized to majority unionized. The majority of the U.S. population lived in urban areas instead of rural areas. The U.S. government moved from running a budget surplus to running a budget deficit. I chose C but I'm not sure. Can anyone help?
Mostly the industrial unionization, they set regulations such as minimum wage, work place safety, eventually OSHA was created as part of the industrial unions, and even the eventual creation of the DEP. In many other countries such as China, have no such laws, it is much cheaper to force children to work in sweat shops in China, making as little as $0.03USD a day. For example, Hollister, Nike, Abercrombie&Fitch, and many other clothing companies do this to save money. In the United States they may have to pay up to $22.00/hour as per union by-laws.
Thank you! But I chose B because of what you said and I got it wrong. I think I was originally correct. Thank you though
all of those answers are actually correct, haha, that was a poorly made test.
