you have 2 points on the line (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) find the slope slope is the change in y divided by the corresponding change in x slope m = (y2 - y1) / (x2-x1) using one of the points you can find the intercept y = mx + b rewrite the eqn to standard form to choose the correct equivalent
