please help

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well start with this \[y = -5(x^2 - 12x + ?) - 176 + (-5*?)\] what is the value of ? is the terms in x form a perfect square...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any way I got the answer: y = 3+19 /20 But thank you. I can gave you metal.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well I think you have a slight problem in you're solution, the parabola is concave down with a vertex at (6, 4) then the directrix is above the vertex.... you have it below the vertex...
