Which step is included in the construction of perpendicular lines using a point on the line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1] Make arcs above and below the given line with a compass. 2] Create two arcs above the given line with a straightedge. 3] Connect two created arcs together with a compass. 4] Measure the constructed angles with a straightedge.

OpenStudy (aric200):

1. Put the needle of the compass on the point 2. Set the compass as wide as possible (the wider the more accurate) 3. Make two arcs, one on left side (call it 1) and one on right side (call it 2). These arcs MUST intersect the line 4. Now adjust the compass, it must be wider than step 2 above 5. Put the needle on arc 1 and draw another arc above the point. Then put the needle on arc 2 and draw another arc. These arcs should intersect. 6. From the point of intersection of the arcs to the point on the line - it will be perpendicular to your original line

Lol i'll get the answer one sec.

OpenStudy (aric200):

Answers :I haha

OpenStudy (aric200):

You gotta tell the boy how to do it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or, just tell me the answer D;

OpenStudy (aric200):

That is silly talk.

OpenStudy (aric200):

What do you think it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It must be A

OpenStudy (aric200):

It is A. Make arcs above and below the given line with a compass.

OpenStudy (aric200):

Yes

OpenStudy (aric200):

:D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll test it out lol

OpenStudy (aric200):

Oh god my medal it is gone.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What? it's there..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

;)

OpenStudy (aric200):

Yeahhhhhh...... I got my Eyes on you O.O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ding ding ding.. A is correct thank you very much..

OpenStudy (aric200):

The suspense was killing me

OpenStudy (triciaal):

another method by elimination you do not create arcs with a straightedge you do not connect arcs with a compass you do not measure an angle with a straightedge
