Can anyone summarize how the Allies defeated Germany in World War Two?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Until the pearl harbour America didn't join the war and Western Europe (France and Britain) were getting pounded by Nazi Germany. However with Pearl Harbour, United States joined up with the allies. They won the war in North Africa against Rommel because they had more weaponery and resources when Rommel did not.

In Europe, America supplied the allies with weapons and resources, while dictating a plan to execute Operation Overlord, which came known to be as Normandy. They landed on Normandy which caught Hitler offguard and basically took over France, Belgium and so on.

Germany had a hard time against the allies because they were battling on two fronts (Eastern and western). This caused Germany to separate their troops into two and cause the decline in their power. Also Germany's failure and mistake to bomb out Britain caused their downfall with allies being able to successfully win a campaign in Italy and Greece helped also.

Okay thanks...you didn't have to give me a full summary but thanks anyways :)
