OpenStudy (iamstark):

How will i know if somebody has reported me ? Will i rcv any warning or not ? @thomaster

hartnn (hartnn):

Hi Stark, If you broke any rule from the CoC ( http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct ), then you might get the warning irrespective of whether someone reports you or not. Users report to bring such rule breaking into notice of moderators. So, obviously there could be FALSE reporting. Moderators look into the report, verify whether the report is true or not, and then give out the required warning. So, to answer your question, if someone has falsely reported you, then NO, you will not get the warning, and you will not come to know whether someone has reported you. If you broke the rule, then you will get the warning, maybe because someone reported you or maybe some moderator himself saw you break the rule.

And if it is a major violation or a repeat, you might simply get suspended, not warned.

Thnx all
