OpenStudy (anonymous):

50 ATP molecules were spent how many sodium ions are transported across the cell membrane

OpenStudy (deepika.comet):

i knew 3 sodium ions per 1 ATP so the answer may be 50X3 = 150 sodium ions

OpenStudy (carolina4567):

My Dear 1 ATP molecule allows 3 Na+ to move out of the cell and 2 K+ to enter. So 50 ATP molecules allow 150 Sodium ions to move out and 100 Potassium ions to move in. BY THE WAY WELCOME TO OPENSTUDY
