what does hotcherallthink sorry if i got ur name wrong
OpenStudy (anonymous):
syd that question What is the slope of the line 8x + 6y = 12?
8x + 6y = 12
First, I would isolate y by subracting 8x from both sides.
6y = 12 - 8x
Then, to get rid of the 6 that is in front of the y, I would divide everything by 6.
y = 2 - 4/3x
y =-4/3x + 2
The slope is -4/3
OpenStudy (sydthekid913):
cool!
OpenStudy (sydthekid913):
thanks how about this one since you cant get the other one. If the slope of a straight line is 0 and the y-intercept is –2, what is the equation of the line?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
hey other helper sorry but knos anyone that can help?
