@iambatman The length of one side of a regular octagon is 16.7 m. What is the perimeter of this octagon?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Octagon is 8 sides, so all you have to do for the perimeter is add up all the sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or 8*16.7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

16.7 x 8 = 133.6m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

133.6 is the answer right ? i think

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

@Hotchellerae21 This applies to all shapes you will ever see in mathematics. The perimeter of a shape is just the sum of the sides of of that shape.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@iambatman

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it shows the the answer is 133.6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, that's the answer.

thanks @iambatman
