PEMDAS

Remember PEMDAS (the Order of Operations) PEMDAS makes sure we apply things inside Parenthesis first (3 - 5) Second, any exponents we have (none in this equation) Next, Multiplication and Division are done next, but these are grouped, so these are done Left to Right (like reading). (Note: It is a common misconception to think that Multiplication is done before Division. This is not true, they are done simultaneously, left to right) Finally, all you should have left are addition and subtraction (Do that left to right as well)
