How do I do this? Do NOT give me the answer! Which ordered pair is the point where the graph of y = x − 3 crosses the y-axis? A. (-3,0) B. (0,-3) C. (1/2, 0) D. (3, 1/2)

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

think about what happens when it crosses the y-axis -- what do you think the value of x is along the y-axis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Um...3? Cause it's already -3.

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

look at the example graph I have drawn - when the line crosses the y-axis, see if you can spot what the x value should be? |dw:1402523249113:dw|
