tRNA is the 'transfer' RNA it is the go between mRNA and amino acids. DNA holds the message (the coding for proteins) RNA translates DNA to be used to make long chains of amino acids at the ribosomes. Key thing to remember... RNA and DNA are made up of nucleic acids thus the 'NA's Proteins are made of long chains of amino acids.
