The prime factorization has to contain only prime numbers. Choice A can't be right because 9 is not prime (it has 3 as a factor). Among the remaining choices, D also has a number that isn't prime (6, which has 3 and 2 as factors). From B and C, multiply them out and see which one is equal to 54.
