OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

Monocotyledons are to grains and cereals as Dicotyledons are to _________ ?

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

Well, do you know the differences between Monocotyledons and Dicotyledons?

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

mono produces only 1 seed leaf

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

dico produces 2

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

but i dont really see how that helps....

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

Well... Think about it a grain is 1 seed leaf.. and dico is 2 seed leaf. So you would need something that is two seeded leaf like: tomatos, peppers, cabbage, beans, peas, (flowers) sunflowers,

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

so...mono is to grain as dico is to tomatoes, peppers, etc

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

That would make sense.

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):
