Can someone help me!!!! Jesse is using a recipe that requires 2 cups of sugar for 5 cups of flour. How many cups of sugar are needed if Jesse uses 35 cups of flour? A. 30 cups of sugar B. 12 cups of sugar C. 14 cups of sugar Can someone explain me because I don't have any idea how to solve it :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Write ratio: 2:5 Which stands for 2 cups of sugar per 5 cups of flour Now, write the equation: 2:5 = x:35 Find how much 5s equal 35 (35/5) then * the result by 2.
