i need step by step process for factoring with two variables...
it is the same concept as factoring a regular quadratic trinomial
what 2 numbers add up to 7 and multiply to 10?

yeah so it is just (a+2b)(a+5b)
ok but i need the process to show
@mathmale can help you show the steps i am not sure how to show steps to factoring , you just factor after you find the gcf
so fisrst step would be to split 7ab into 2ab and 5 ab?
