◦What is the purpose of the naturalization process? ◦Does the process work well? In other words, does the process achieve its goals? ◦Would you change the process if you could? Explain why you would or why you would not make a change. If you would, include how you would change the naturalization process

◦The purpose of the naturalization process is to see if a person should become a citizen of a country. What the country looks for is if the person wants to be a citizen, if they know enough about the country to survive in the country and help the country, if the person has good moral character, and they check for other things too like how long they have already lived in the country. My information was based on my U.S. Civics book. ◦ i think this link might help you :) http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Does_the_naturalization_process_achieve_its_goals?#slide=2 ◦ I personally wouldn't change it. it's simple enough so that someone who does want to become a citizen can become one easily enough. the test itself is nice, and I really don't think there's too much racism involved, etc.
