If someone is actually trying to learn how to solve a problem, this isn't different than asking a teacher or a tutor for help.

I try to give guided solutions as best as I can. And yeah, no helping on tests and quizzes.

then again... the idea being to have it put to good use :)

but I can see your concern... .but that's true of many things

and yes, we get some misguided folks trying to do just that here, but we do explain them that's now what we do and that it's simply a disservice
