I've taken a few sociology classes, I never went to them but still pulled out A- in each one of them, really have no idea how.

Close out the off topic ones, tell people about other sections, etc.

As for getting good grades in sociology without going, that would not have worked in mine.  1/3rd of many of my grades were for group things done in the class.
