I need help I don't have any idea how to solve it. :(

James can paint a room in 6 hours. Keith can paint the same room in 8 hours. How long would it take them to paint the room together?

A. 7 hours
B. 3 3/7 hours
C. 2 2/5 hours

So james can paint 1/6 of the room in one hour.
Keith can paint 1/8 th of the room in 1 hour.
so they together can paint (1/8 + 1/6 ) th of room in 1 hour.
So they can paint 7/24 th of the room in one hour.
from this u can calculate how much time it will take them to paint 1 part of the room.
