Well it tells you the base is a square and it's asking for the figure

So it's a pyramid there because the base is a square (outlines in red)

The figure on tip is a pyramid 

They want the figure on the bottom which is a trapezoid.

I thought so too but it says "What figure is created by the cross section of this pyramid with a square base. So it's telling you the top part is a pyramid with a square base which you can see.
