Which of the following is the slope between the points (-2, 4) and (2, -2)? negative three halves negative two thirds three halves two thirds

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont understand

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

u are given two point (-2, 4) and (2, -2) ok now let (x1,y1)=(-2,4) so \[x_1=-2\] and \[y_1=4\] and another set is=(2,-2) so let (x2,y2)=(2,-2) so \[x_2=2\] and \[y_2=-2\] now slope between them is \[m=\frac{ y_2-y_1 }{ x_2-x_1}\] now just put the values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think i did something wrong cause i got -6/-4

@sidsiddhartha

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

it is \[m=\frac{ -2-4 }{ 2-(-2)}=-6/4=-3/2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thankyou
