A softball is a sphere you would agree?

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

Volume of a sphere= V=4/3πr3

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

Ah! Sorry @marissalovescats please continue

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

So the volume of a sphere is V=4/3(pi)(r^3) Where r is the radius. A radius is half of diameter. The diameter here is 3.8 So the radius is 3.8/2 which is 1.9 So we plug the radius into the equation for r: V=4/3(pi)(1.9^3)

OpenStudy (marissalovescats):

So you find what 1.9^3 is, multiply is by 4/3 and you have your answer (there is still pi after the answer because this question as you can tell wants the answer in terms of pi)
