Help prove this identity? Medal and fan (secx+tanx) (1-sinx/cosx) = 1 Thanks(:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you see... i'm currently high :DD Oh the sky is beautiful today lalala

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks but I actually need real help.

rishavraj (rishavraj):

@seehearcreate is it (1-sinx)/cos or 1 - sinx/cosx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's (1-sinx)/cosx, sorry.

rishavraj (rishavraj):

@seehearcreate oo then its damn too easy..just multiply (secx - tanx) on both side of "="

rishavraj (rishavraj):

got it????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No you can't because secx + tan x boils down to 1+sinx/cos. That's not equal.

rishavraj (rishavraj):

see after multiplying u will be left with (1 - sinx)/cosx = (secx - tan x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, that's true. Thankyou, that's perfect!

rishavraj (rishavraj):

anytime!!
