What are the possible numbers of positive, negative, and complex zeros of f(x) = -3x4 - 5x3 - x2 - 8x + 4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 positive, 3 or 1 negative and 3 or 1 complex? that's what I got

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm 1 positive real, yes 3 or 1 negative real, yes is a 4 degree equation, so 4 roots so either 1 positive and 3 negative ones = 4 or 1 positive 1 negative and 2 comples =4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh when I looked at it it looked like a 3rd degree polynomial! thanks haha @jdoe0001
