Don't answer. You can explain though. Which relation is a function?

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

A relation is a function if it follows the Vertical Line test, graphically. A relation is a function if each x-value has a unique y-value. In a function, an x value can't have 2 y-values.

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

which graph has 1 y value for each x value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whick side is x? the 123 or 5s.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If one x value has one y-value then its a function. If any x has more than one y, then its a function.

@jdoe0001 Can you show me how they would have repeats? :)

@jdoe0001 @jigglypuff314

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

a function has to have unique x values so there can not be repeats for x's |dw:1402704837063:dw|
