Which statement is not true about the Indus Valley civilization? A. They built a granary to hold surplus wheat and barley. B. They made tools, pots, pans, and toys. C. They developed sophisticated water systems. D. They worshipped one god who was believed to control nature and agriculture.
i will go for "A"...
A is correct because yes, there was a granary type structure built called the Great Granary at Harappa, but there is no archeological evidence that grain was ever stored there.
C or D....
Actually, A says built to hold, not necessarily held. I'd say D because the Indus River Valley civilization believed in a lot of gods that make up modern Hinduism. They had elaborate drainage systems, so C is fine. I'd go with D.
but i will still say "A"...
