This Nation was founded by men of many nations and backgrounds. It was founded on the principle that all men are created equal, and that the rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened.
Would this be Ethos or Logos? Pathos isn't correct. It was said by Kennedy to his audience.
@wwhitlock
I like these words
...okay, do you know anything about Logos or Ethos?
Logos is factual data, while ethos makes credibility. I know he's the president and that's pretty credible, but he's giving facts. I think this also applies to emotions what he is saying which is why I put pathos initially.
then
whats pathos meaning?
Appeals to emotions of the reader/ influences emotions. But it's wrong. My teacher said to chose another.
Okay
its ethos 100%
Ethos(Google Definition) : The characteristic spirit of a culture, era, or community as manifested in its beliefs and aspirations.
Thanks. :)

"This Nation was founded by men of many nations and backgrounds." True, Factual "It was founded on the principle that all men are created equal," True, Factual (Not everyone believes this, so it may be a hint of pathos) "and that the rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened." Again, this is just quoting the Declaration of Independence or Constitution or Federalist Papers or etc. so I do want to say logos. However, the word "threatened" almost has to fall under "pathos". I also cannot avoid your observation that he was the POTUS, so that Ethos is unavoidable. My Score: Ethos: 10% Pathos: 10% Logos: 80%
