Can someone explain the new feature SmartCents to me?

Every time you get a medal, you'll be awarded a SmartCent. Also, the website keeps track of the sections you got those medals in. When you reach certain milestones in how many medals (not SmartCents) you've gotten in a section, you'll unlock the ability to get new titles in that section. You can then use your SmartCents to purchase the titles for yourself. This removes your SmarCents, but not your medal count.

For example, let's say that you've earned 50 medals in Biology (enough to unlock "Geneius"). Then you'll have accumulated 50 SmartCents. With these you can buy the title "Geneius" for your 50 SmartCents. Then you'll have 0 SmartCents remaining. Now suppose a month goes buy, and you've earned 450 more medals in Biology to put you at 500 total. This unlocks the title "Big Man on the Hippocampus." But now you only have 450 SmartCents, so you aren't able to actually purchase the title yet. You have to wait until you have 500 SmartCents, or 50 more medals.

So every time you earn a medal you get 1 SmartCent? Right..
So you have to buy the titles right you just don't receive them.
Where can you buy these titles at?
What titles can you get?
Like the names of the all titles?
How many titles there are in each section?
What sections have titles?
Do the titles you earn show up in every section or just the section I earned them in?
Can you have more than one title at once?
Do you have to have a certain amount of SmartCents for a title, a certain amount of medals for a title or both?

medals are needed to remove the lock. 1 medal = 1 SmartCent. SmartCents are needed to purchase the title. So if you earned 500 medals in chemistry, and 50 in every other group, you can purchase the 50 medals title in all those sections with the SmartCents you've earned from the medals in chemistry. SmartCents is the currency and medals is the lock. When you earned a fixed amount of medals, you're able to remove the lock with SmartCents.
