Python/Pygame/Pyglet help? im trying to create a 3D terrain but I have limited experience with python could anyone explain to me how I would go about making it? Thanks~

as for any 3D game, you could split the progtamming part from the artistic part. You can easily generate terrain in Vue or Terragen, then exporting it in a common obj format (could also prerender). Then , you could add collision detection point that would track the objects displacements on their surface and dont allow them to sink
