mathslover (mathslover):

Direct Object - a noun phrase denoting a person or thing that is the recipient of the action of a transitive verb, for example the dog in Jeremy fed the dog. - Google So, basically, here, the recipient of the action of the verb (transitive) is Flowers. As , it is the result of the action (jogging) When the person was jogging, he noticed the flowers... SO, B) is absolutely right. (IMO)
