I need to write a descriptive paragraph on a campfire and I am stumped this is what I have written so far...
The campfire crackled with life. The flames licked hungrily at the wood. I stared into its oasis of warmth in the cold snowy forest. The forest was silent as if there was not a single living thing for miles. I stared into the fire head coming off it in waves and wrapping around me like a scarf. A thick fog clung to the edges of the clearing and a sudden icy breeze rustled the leaves.
