Well since you're not responding.. I'll just start assuming this is the equation you're describing... Well the top is factored out. We want to simplify this equation, so my first advise to you is to factor out the bottom such that you have some thing like (x+a)(x-b) form or something like that. Do you know how to factor out the bottom?
