Please help me on this: Wind farms are a source of renewable energy found around the world. The power p (in kilowatts) generated by a wind turbine varies directly as the cube of the wind speed v (in meters per sec.). If a turbine generates 700kWin a 5 m/s wind, how much power does it generate in a 16m/s wind? A. 20480kW, B. 22938kW, C. 11469kW, D. 7168kW

@Hero can you please help me?

hero (hero):

Actually, Use this formula for direct variation \(p = kv^3\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok will you please help me on which numbers go into which variables so I can see it set up and solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Never mind I got B by solving for K then plugging the K into the original formula and placing 16 in for v :)
