This kinda confuses me. I have my answer though, will someone please check it? :)
A company was privately held for the first five years of its existence. At that point, the directors of the company decided to sell stock in the company to the public. The scatter plot below shows data on the price of the company’s stock in the first year after it was offered. Which of the following statements best reflects the meaning of the y-intercept of the line of best fit in the scatter plot? A. The company’s stock was initially offered at a price of about $10. B. The company’s stock was initially offered at a price of about $40. C. The price of the company’s stock fell by between $5 and $6 every two months. D. The price of the company’s stock fell by about $30 every two months. I THINK the answer is D.
