y = mx + b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you asking what kind of equation is this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do I solve for m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is the straight line equation.. you have to move things around using standard algebra rules. so you have to isolate the term in question using whatever gets you there faster y=mx + b y -b =mx + b -b y -b =mx and so on ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you solve it from there? you have to move x to the other side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm confused
