I feel really stupid about asking this, but in the scientific method, how does one actually develop analysis?
this is not a stupid question actually. scientist face this problem many times. they design experiment but cannot analyse the data well and thus cannot conclude. learning how to analyze overall is a lil difficult. but i can help u with a specific experiment if u are doing. i am sure @Frostbite can give u best help here
An analysis occurs when doing a detailed examination of how variables relate to each other. In order to see how the variables relate we different \(\textit{methods}\). But in the analysis you are sitting with your data and carefully studying how the variables tested relates to each other and only what you can specifically see from the data. You can then use your analysis (the comparison of variables) to say something about how it may affect your model/system.
nothing you ask is stupid, we are all here to help, (except me I'm going to bed), the only stupid question is @quickfun "is anyone single looking for fun" and even that was more funny than stupid.
Correction: "...how the variables relate we use different \(\textit{methods}\)." Sorry I can't write today.
