Which of the following best explains how a hurricane can increase an area’s susceptibility to future storms? a. Storm surges cause massive damage to buildings along coastlines. b. Hurricanes often flood coastal communities. c. Hurricane strength winds cause large amounts of property damage. d. Erosion caused by hurricanes can leave coasts more exposed to storms
The answer is D, I know this from living in Florida, From learning it myself in class, and from taking that same E2020 Test. I did it 3 days ago. ;) I won't tell.
You go to school online? @PraiseItBlazeIt
But, if you wish for an explination for it, it is D because the winds and rainfall from the hurricanes cause erosion, due to weakening soil or ground works with water, flash floods, or trees toppleing from the gale force winds, eventually decreasing the ammount of Terrain that the hurricane must pass through, and the less "Jagged" terrain, like trees, mountains, anything that isn't flat, allows the hurricane to go further, or the wind will bounce off these back at it, slow it down, and prevent floods from reaching such heights. Therefor if the hurricane does cause the land to erode into a flatter surface, it is more suspectable to future storms.
Is this a test going on ?
@AnnalieseBronz I don't, I go to alternative schooling as I have gotten removed from my previous school due to "Complications", if you message me I could tell you about it but I understand this is not the section for conversation, and I'm currently in Summer School here. So yeah. Hope all that helped. <3
@AnnalieseBronz I also apologize for this, but when I try to message you it says that your account does not accept messages, so if you could change that, we could continue our conversation then, thank you, and if you could message me when you do change it too that would be awesome as well. Thank you. Love and Light. <3
@PraiseItBlazeIt How do you change that option?
@AnnalieseBronz I'm assuming you don't have this up on a mobile device, you go to the top right of your screen, right above the smart in smart score (At least right above for me) And then go to Privacy settings, there it says (These aren't the exact words) Allow these people to talk to me, then a box next to it, select either everyone, fans, etc.
I meant Notification settings, it would be Privacy iff it was facebook.
@AnnalieseBronz if you don't find it in notification settings tell me, and if you do message me, are you on a mobile device of any sort? (Iphone, Ipod, Android, Cell phone of sort)?
