What is the midpoint of the line segment with endpoints (-5,5, -6,1) and (-0,5, 9,1)

OpenStudy (vishweshshrimali5):

The mid point of (x1,y1,z1) and (x2,y2,z2) is \[\large{(x,y,z) = (\cfrac{x_1 + x_2}{2}, \cfrac{y_1 + y_2}{2}, \cfrac{z_1+z_2}{2})}\]

OpenStudy (vishweshshrimali5):

Similarly for 4 coordinate system (which I don't have much idea about the 4th axis), the 4th coordinate of the mid point would be the average of the 4th coordinates of given points.
