OpenStudy (anonymous):

9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that an answer choice

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Well what is -12 + 21? First when you are adding the opposite integer you always change the addition sign to a subtraction sign... (-12) - (+2) Then you subtract them numbers, which is 9, and take the integer sign from the number with the highest absolute value, and put it on your result, which would be +9

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Sorry I meant (+21) not (+2)

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Got it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Glad I could help~
