how has the atomic bomb changed foreign policy and warfare forever?
Are there choices?
no i have to make a power point with 2 slides about this question.
Okay
The atomic bomb has changed warfare because it created a mass political war for power over who gets nuclear weapons. The United States controls most nuclear weapons. Any other countries that the U.S. has not supplied nuclear weapons to, must have those nuclear weapons removed.
Does that make sense?
You can look for things such as Brinksmanship, MAD, START, SALT, and other things concerning the Cold War. You can also add non-alignment, a policy other countries took up to avoid the the war.
thank you
But MAD should be most important, since it means Mutually Assured Distrustion and led neither countries (Russia and US) to actually throw atom bombs at each other or the world would end as we know it.
The Cold War was mostly over who is going to control the world, basically. Whoever has the big weapons is the control. The arms race was an excruciating time for workers. If Leon Szilard didn't come up with the idea of fusion and fission, we would not have the Cold War.
ok that actually helps alot thank you
