Select the correct inequality For the graph below. (see attached graph)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

ok so what do u think ?

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

first find te line equation for this ,can u find it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equation from the graph? @ikram002p

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

yes , pick two points from the graph ^^

OpenStudy (dan815):

:)

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

i would say (0,-1) (1,2) can u find the slope for this ?

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

hey dan :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sup dan @dan815

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and yeah yeah sure one second @ikram002p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldn't it just be 3?

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

yes ur correct :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yasssss

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

nw find line equation using point, slope formula u have slope 3 and point (0,-1) can u do it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no idea in hell how to do that .. ha. ha.. /:

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

if u have a point (x1,y1) and slope m then u can write line equation like this :- \( \Huge \color{Blue }{y}-\color{green}{ y_1 }=\color{red}{ m} (\color{Blue }{x}-\color{green}{ x_1 } ) \)

OpenStudy (dan815):

that latex

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

so u have point (0,-1) and m=3

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

dan copy/paste :D

OpenStudy (loser66):

beautiful performance. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't get itttttt helppppp

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

i said ealier if u have a point\( \color{green}{(x1,y1)}\) and slope \( \color{red }{m}\) then u can write line equation like this :- \(\Huge \color{Blue }{y}-\color{green}{ y_1 }=\color{red}{ m} (\color{Blue }{x}-\color{green}{ x_1 } ) \) ***************************************** u have a point\( \color{green}{(0,-1)}\) and slope \( \color{red }{3}\) so ur line equation would be :- \(\Huge \color{Blue }{y}-\color{green}{ -1 }=\color{red}{ 3} (\color{Blue }{x}-\color{green}{ 0 } )\) \(\Huge \color{Blue }{y} \color{green}{ }=\color{red}{ 3} \color{Blue }{x}-\color{green}{ 1 } \)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahhh i see, would it be >, < ?

OpenStudy (dan815):

if only you had skills like me i knew it was y=3x-1 before i opened your thumbnail

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats some master pellet man

OpenStudy (dan815):

lol =]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pellet what the flutter. i definitely spelled out pellet, but alright

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh can you not swear on here. well. i mean. alright.

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

nw for >.< check the shaded area :D the area under the line means y<3x-1 te area above the line means y>3x-1 |dw:1402963850986:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

golden

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

ok so u got the answer nw ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean.... yes i think so (:

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

ok :)
