OpenStudy (precal):

Given a graph of the derivative, how can I tell how many points of inflection the original function has?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Reading graphs :) oo these are fun.

OpenStudy (precal):

I know this graph has one relative maximum and two relative minimum

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Inflection points are where the function can `change concavity`.

zepdrix (zepdrix):

So look for where the function changes from a `bowl` to a `hat` and the other way around also.

OpenStudy (precal):

I know how to find the max and mins but I forgot how to find the points of inflection
