OpenStudy (anonymous):
9^-1/3
9^-1/4

\[\LARGE \frac{9^\frac{3}{4}}{9^\frac{5}{4}}=9^{\frac{3}{4}-\frac{5}{4}}\]
OpenStudy (dls):
\[\LARGE 9^\frac{-1}{2} = \frac{1}{3}\]

im really not sure which one it is
OpenStudy (anonymous):
is evaluating different or something can it change the answer?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no. it must be an error on your sheet! you should bring it to your teachers attention though
