Help Please!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ ^4\sqrt{9}\sqrt{9} }{ ^4\sqrt{9^5} }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to simplify tht

OpenStudy (dls):

\[\LARGE \frac{9^{\frac{1}{4}+\frac{1}{2}}}{9^\frac{5}{4}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9^-1/3 9^-1/4 9 9^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(9^{1/4})(9^{1/2})(9^5)^{-1/4}\]

OpenStudy (dls):

\[\LARGE \frac{9^\frac{3}{4}}{9^\frac{5}{4}}=9^{\frac{3}{4}-\frac{5}{4}}\]

OpenStudy (dls):

\[\LARGE 9^\frac{-1}{2} = \frac{1}{3}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

none of my answers is 1/3 tho

OpenStudy (dls):

you sure u wrote the q correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thts not one either lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

q? I didn't write a q

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahh wait, i did mine wrong and too fast.. dls is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my first thing was right. in my head i did it wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9^3/4*9^-5/4 = 9^-2/4 = 9^-1/2 this is the same as \[\frac{ 1 }{ \sqrt{9} }\]

OpenStudy (dls):

\[\LARGE \frac{1}{4}+\frac{1}{2}-\frac{5}{4} = -\frac{1}{2}\] only :/

OpenStudy (dls):

it is 1/3 for sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what answers do you have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Theyre above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Fourth comment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is for sure 1/3. without a doubt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It says to evaluate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im really not sure which one it is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is evaluating different or something can it change the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no. it must be an error on your sheet! you should bring it to your teachers attention though
